At the end of 2017, I started thinking about to create a new series of images about Venice, but I did not feel like making a series of pure beauty, I wanted to draw attention to the thousand problems of my city and express these problems through my photographs, and I wanted the whole thing was very popular and very shared with the whole city and all those who, like me, love it. Starting from April 25th, in the Italian newspapers og the GEDI group (La Nuova Venezia, Il Mattino di Padova, La tribuna di Treviso, Il Corriere delle Alpi), twelve new photographs of mine will be released, one per month, that will accompany 12 articles by the journalist Alberto Vitucci that discuss the problematics in my city. This first page serves only to announce to the readers the next series of images and articles. The image is not of the new series, but an elaboration of a famous painting by Rembrandt, "the anatomy lesson of Dr. Tulp", made by Aska Jez, where I replaced the cadaver with the Venice plant and the faces of the characters with those of the last mayors, and this picture will be the “Icona” of the entire series. Besides the image there is an article by Alberto Vitucci, and a small piece written by me about my childhood in Venice. (Read more)
